What you'll do:

• Design and Develop Automated Test Scripts: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for various applications using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Work with software engineers to understand the architecture and design of the software for building effective test automation.
• Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to create detailed test plans and strategies.
• Identify test cases suitable for automation and prioritize them based on risk and return on investment.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure quick and continuous feedback.
• Work with DevOps teams to optimize test automation within the CI/CD environment.
• Defect Tracking and Resolution: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and ensure that defects are resolved effectively.
• Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate the responsiveness, stability, and scalability of applications.
• Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar to perform tests and analyze results.
• Quality Assurance and Best Practices: Ensure the quality of test automation by adhering to best practices in coding and testing.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and test coverage.

What makes you a great fit:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, QTP, etc.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Skills:
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
