What will you do:

1. Development:

o Build and develop prototypes for reports to be embedded into the web application based on gathered requirements.

o Provide guidance or code to be used by web development teams and architecture teams to implement embedded BI features.

o Work closely with the Architecture team to address technical challenges related to embedding.

o Ensure the embedded solutions align with the company’s strategic objectives and technical standards.

o Ensure prototype meets security requirements and RLS is correctly set up across web applications.

2. Technical Leadership and Innovation:

o Propose solutions to enhance the functionality and performance of embedded reports.

o Provide technical guidance and support to team members involved in the embedding process.

3. Collaboration and Coordination:

o Act as the primary liaison between the Data Cloud team, the Architecture team, Siemens IT Data Team

o Facilitate communication and ensure alignment across these teams to meet project goals.

o Key stakeholder in meetings to discuss progress, address issues, ensure timely delivery of prototypes, and provide insight into capabilities for embedding.

4. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

o Document all aspects of the embedding architecture, including processes, standards, and best practices.

o Share knowledge and expertise with the Data Cloud and Architecture teams to foster a collaborative learning environment.

o Conduct training sessions and demos as needed to disseminate knowledge on embedding techniques and show web application features.

What makes you a great fit:

• Proven experience in a technical lead role, particularly involving data visualization and embedding.
  
• Familiar with most of the following languages / frameworks / Platforms: SQL, dbt, Typescript, React, Vue, Python, Java, Terraform, Snowflake, Power BI
• Strong understanding of data architecture and the ability to translate technical requirements into functional prototypes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between technical and product teams.
• Hands-on experience in embedding Power BI reports in web applications, including proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, and DAX.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of keeping projects on schedule and within scope.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and propose innovative solutions.
• Understanding of modern web application development processes and architectures
• Proficiency in star schema data modeling, Snowflake, SQL, and other relevant database technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
