What you'll do:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance and inform decision-making.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies, models, and methodologies to optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment between analytics projects and business objectives.
- Design and build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate insights and key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide timely and accurate reports to support business initiatives, such as market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and operations, to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement based on data insights.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging analytics tools, and best practices. Proactively recommend and implement new techniques and methodologies to enhance the analytics capabilities of the organization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity, data security, and data governance practices are maintained throughout the analytics processes.
- Communicate complex analytical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, enabling them to make informed business decisions.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- 1 plus years of experience in a business analytics role, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
