What you will do:

• Protocol Development: Design, develop, and maintain Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) network protocols, including but not limited to Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, and others.
  
• C/C++ Programming: Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code in C. Optimize existing code and troubleshoot complex issues.
• System Integration: Integrate protocol stacks with existing systems and ensure compatibility across various hardware and software platforms.
• Testing and Debugging: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for protocol validation. Utilize debugging tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize protocol performance to ensure high throughput, low latency, and efficient resource usage.
• Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation guides, and testing reports.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure successful product delivery.

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of [4+] years of professional experience in L2/L3 protocol development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in C programming language.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols at Layer 2 and Layer 3.
