What will you do:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to seamlessly transfer data from source systems to data warehouses and data lakes
• Develop and implement data modeling strategies to ensure data consistency, integrity, and usability
• Implement data quality and data governance processes to maintain the accuracy and reliability of data
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, optimize data processing efficiency, and identify performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements, develop data solutions, and translate business needs into technical specifications.

What makes you a great fit:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• In-depth understanding of data lake/data warehouse concepts, data modeling principles, and data transformation methodologies
• Proven experience with Azure cloud-based data platforms
• Proficient in Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data lake Gen2, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data engineering
• Expertise in transforming data using Azure Functions
• Experience in Azure App service, Redis Cache, building APIs and performance tuning
• Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering a collaborative environment and effective knowledge sharing
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to solve complex data-related problems and identify potential issues proactively
