What you'll do:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines, including continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar, to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and others to optimize application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management processes.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for container deployment and management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, implementing proactive measures for performance optimization and security enhancement.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security best practices and implement appropriate security measures within the infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure timely identification and resolution of incidents.
• Conduct regular performance and cost analysis, optimizing infrastructure and application resources for efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services, tools, and industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, provide technical guidance, and drive efficient and reliable software delivery processes.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

What makes you a great fit:

• Proven experience of at least 5 years as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS, demonstrating successful delivery of complex infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and others.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, tools, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices in an AWS environment.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus/Grafana.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate are preferred.
