What you'll do:

• We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline management, automation, Azure resource management, and scripting. This role is crucial in driving our DevOps culture and ensuring the seamless integration and deployment of our software solutions. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with development teams to enhance the efficiency of our deployment pipelines, ensure high availability of applications, and manage cloud resources effectively.
• Key Responsibilities
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Lead and manage CI/CD pipelines integrated with Azure DevOps for automated build and deployment, including pipeline creation, regular deployments, and troubleshooting deployment issues.
• Automation: Automate Azure services, deployment, and monitoring using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Azure Resource Management: Design and implement strategies for creating new resources and resource groups, ensuring scalability and security across multiple subscriptions.
• PowerShell & YAML Scripting: Develop and utilize PowerShell scripts to automate deployments and infrastructure tasks, and write YAML scripts to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Kubernetes Operations: Perform hands-on tasks with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.
• Monitoring & Performance: Set up monitoring and logging solutions to ensure application performance and reliability, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Live Site Management: Utilize Azure services, PowerShell, and Kubernetes commands for effective debugging and management of live site deployment issues, including on-call support.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows and enhance overall system efficiency.
• Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents related to deployment, infrastructure, and application performance.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and configurations.

What makes you a great fit:

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Azure Cloud: Deep expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
• CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices, particularly within the Azure DevOps ecosystem.
• Scripting Skills: Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting for task automation and YAML scripting for CI/CD configuration.
• Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
