What you'll do:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they are motivated, productive, and delivering high-quality work.
• Develop and execute project plans, ensuring they are aligned with business goals and that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders, such as product management, design, sales, and marketing, to ensure that engineering is integrated into the overall strategy and that the product is meeting customer needs.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project delivery or team performance, and develop contingency plans as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing feedback to help team members develop professionally.
• Ensure that engineering processes and methodologies are optimized for efficiency and quality and that they are being followed consistently across the team.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the engineering field and identify opportunities to incorporate them into the team's work.
• Communicate regularly with senior management and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues and to ensure that the team's work is aligned with business goals.
