What you'll do:

• As a Lead Engineer – Backend, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of our SaaS products. 
• You will lead by example, guiding a team of talented engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable backend systems. 
• Your focus will be on creating robust solutions that ensure high performance and responsiveness, while also integrating front-end elements of our AI SaaS application modules. 
• You will solve complex revenue-growth challenges at the intersection of demand and supply for Fortune 1000 CPG/FMCG companies.

• Lead the backend engineering team to design and implement efficient, scalable software solutions.

• Own the performance management of applications and databases.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Drive the development and deployment of new features, ensuring they align with business goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end elements and solve business challenges.

• Architect and maintain the backend systems, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.

• SaaS Product Development: Proven experience in developing and scaling SaaS products.

• Strong Coding & Node.js Expertise: Mastery of Node.js is required, along with strong coding and algorithmic skills in one or more programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.

• REST & GraphQL Frameworks: Proficient in REST frameworks (Flask, Django, Node, Go) and experienced in building GraphQL queries/mutations, preferably using Python.

• Database Management: Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience in optimizing application and database performance.
• Familiarity with GIT, JIRA, and other software engineering processes.
