• We are seeking an experienced QE Automation Engineer specializing in mobile automation testing to design and implement robust test frameworks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mobile testing tools like Appium and API testing with Rest Assured, ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications.
• Responsibilities:
• Test Automation Design and Implementation: Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium.
• API Testing: Conduct end-to-end API testing using Rest Assured to ensure backend functionality and integration.
• Test Strategy and Planning: Define test strategies and plans for mobile application projects, ensuring coverage and quality.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with development, product, and QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and address issues.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting: Identify, log, and track bugs to closure, ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Document test cases, test results, and testing frameworks for both mobile and API testing.
• Required Skills:
• Mobile Automation Testing: Strong experience with Appium for automating mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms.
• API Testing with Rest Assured: Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing, including writing and maintaining test scripts.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java or Python for writing test scripts, with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks.
• CI/CD Integration: Knowledge of integrating automation tests within CI/CD pipelines, preferably with tools like Jenkins, Git, or Maven.
