What You'll do -:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE 3) specialising in backend development to join our dynamic team. 
• This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a minimum of 6 years of experience who is passionate about building robust, scalable systems and thrives in a product-based environment. Key Responsibilities: 
• Architect, design, and develop high-performance, scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS. ○ Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices. ○ Develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements for our product suite. 
•  SystemDesign and Architecture: 
•  Design and implement complex systems and databases. 
•  Participate in and lead architecture discussions and design reviews. 
• Ensure system designs meet business requirements and industry standards for performance, scalability, and reliability. 
• CodeQuality and Best Practices: ○ Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices in software development. 
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. 
• Ensure code quality with thorough testing, including unit and integration tests. 
• Collaboration and Leadership: 
• Workclosely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UX/UI, and QA, to deliver high-quality products. 
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 
•  Participate in technical discussions and contribute to decision-making processes. 
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance. 
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.

What makes you a great Fit-:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  
• At least 6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies. 
•  Proficiency in Node.js, NestJS, and JavaScript. 
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. 
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and system design. 
•  Proven experience in designing and building scalable systems and microservices. 
•  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively. Preferred Qualifications: 
• Experience working in product-based companies, particularly in high-growth, fast-paced environments. 
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
•  Experience with database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL).
