What you will do:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
• Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (k8s) and AWS ECS, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Integrate various tools and services to streamline deployment workflows and reduce cycle times.
• Configuration Management:
• Utilize Ansible for configuration management, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments across different environments.
• Implement and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes applications to simplify deployment and upgrades.
• Monitoring and Observability:
• Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Cloudwatch, Prometheus and Grafana to ensure application and infrastructure health.
• Develop and manage dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and address issues. Database Management:
• Oversee and optimize database operations for Cassandra, RDS, and Redshift, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Implement best practices for above database scaling, security, and high availability. Security and Compliance:
• Ensure security best practices are followed across the DevOps pipeline, including code analysis with SonarQube and securing AWS environments.
• Implement and manage IAM policies, network security, and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
• Create and maintain scripts and automation tools to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
• Automate routine tasks and processes to enhance productivity and reduce the risk of human error.
• Documentation and Best Practices:
• Document processes related to tagging practices, SOP guidelines , Infrastructure architecture followed, and configurations being used on a project level to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Develop and enforce best practices for DevOps processes, including coding standards, deployment strategies, and infrastructure management.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system performance and efficiency.
• Identify and capture metrics like Latency on an endpoint level, on a page level, and each
• component (API, DB) level.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
• Ability to capture and assess system and API Failure rates.
• Ability to capture Infrastructure utilization metrics and use it for optimization.
• Measure RTO and RPO for the cloud systems.
• Ability to see realtime load on any given service.
• Visualize repetitive issues in deployments and track the RCA.
