What you'll do:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand MDM requirements and objectives,
including data domains, data governance policies, and data quality standards.
Design and implement master data models, hierarchies, taxonomies, and relationships to
support business processes and data integration needs.
Develop data integration pipelines and ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load
master data from source systems into MDM repositories.
Implement data quality checks, validations, and cleansing routines to ensure the accuracy,
completeness, and consistency of master data.
Configure and customize MDM platforms to meet business needs, including data
validation rules, workflow automation, and user access controls.
Perform data profiling, deduplication, and enrichment activities to enhance the quality
and usability of master data assets.
Collaborate with data architects and solution architects to integrate MDM solutions with
existing data management systems and applications.
Monitor MDM performance, identify and resolve data quality issues, and optimize data
processes for efficiency and scalability.
Document MDM processes, data mappings, data lineage, and data governance policies
for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
Provide technical support and guidance to business users, data stewards, and IT teams on
MDM best practices, tools, and technologies.
What makes you a great fit:
Solid understanding of MDM concepts, methodologies, and best practices, with handson
experience in designing and implementing MDM solutions.
Proficiency in data modeling, data governance, data quality management, and data
stewardship principles and techniques.
Experience with MDM platforms and tools (e.g., Informatica MDM, Profisee, IBM
InfoSphere MDM), including configuration, customization, and administration.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server,
Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with data integration tools and ETL technologies (e.g., Informatica
PowerCenter, Talend, SSIS).
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for data manipulation,
automation, and orchestration.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to
detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
