What you'll do:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for Node.js applications using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.

• Node.js Application Integration: Implement and maintain integrations for Node.js applications within CI/CD workflows, ensuring seamless deployment and testing.

• AWS EKS Management: Configure and manage Amazon EKS clusters for containerized applications, including setup, scaling, and monitoring.

• GitOps Implementation: Implement and manage GitOps practices using Argo CD or Flux CD to drive continuous deployment and infrastructure as code (IaC) workflows.

• Automation and Scripting: Create and manage scripts for automated testing, deployment, and environment provisioning.

• Version Control Management: Manage version control systems (e.g., Git) to ensure code quality and streamline the integration and deployment processes.

• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor pipeline performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure continuous delivery and integration efficiency.

• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to define and implement best practices for CI/CD and ensure smooth deployments.

• Documentation: Document CI/CD processes, configurations, and workflows to maintain clear and comprehensive records.

• Security and Compliance: Ensure security best practices and compliance are integrated into CI/CD processes and deployments.

What makes you a great fit:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in CI/CD pipeline development, with significant experience in Node.js application environments.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.

o Leading and taking ownership on Node.js toolchain for the company.

o Can work comfortably with the NodeJs, Typescript and the usual tooling such as esbuild, webpack, npm,ensuring that we get buy-in and built trust with frontend and web platform developers.

o Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Bash or Python) for automation.

o Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, specifically AWS EKS).

o Hands-on experience with GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux CD.

o Knowledge of cloud platform AWS and their CI/CD integrations.

o Experience with static code analysis tools.

o Familiar with industry standards regarding releases, rollbacks, and deployments

• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve existing processes for better efficiency and effectiveness

• Mentoring: Mentor junior engineers and leading projects
