What you will do:

• Design, implement, and maintain a highly available and scalable web server infra.
• Monitor and analyze server performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Implement and maintain proactive monitoring and alerting systems to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
• Conduct regular system capacity planning and forecasting to ensure adequate resources for current and future needs.
• Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts for deployment, configuration, and monitoring of web server environments.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, including server hardening, vulnerability scanning, and patch management.
• Must have a clear understanding of network connectivity, load balancing, reverse proxying, and high-traffic use cases.
• Manage DNS, SSL, and Data center operations.
  
  

What makes you a great fit:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of web server technologies, such as Nginx, haproxy, varnish, etc.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex server-related issues.
• Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, etc is a must.
• understanding of Terraform is preferred.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and experience in managing webserver infrastructure in the cloud is a must.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing server security measures.
