What you'll do:

• Leadership and Team Management:
• Support and oversee the development teams towards effective and productive execution of product development.
• Manage capacity planning to ensure the successful execution of the product.
• Conduct risk assessment and management related to the execution.
• Provide regular updates on the progress of programs assigned to the engineering teams.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Comfortable “working virtually” with teammates and customers worldwide - we do a lot of Slack, Zoom, and Google Meet.
• Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, robust, and secure software solutions.
• Ensure high code quality standards through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables.
• Contact the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes. NodeJS moves fast and often breaks things.
• Contribute to developing products from scratch, key features, and components of our B2B SaaS products.
• Utilize expertise in MongoDB, MySQL, Node.js, Nest.js, and ReactJS to develop and maintain applications.
• Implement best practices in database design and technical architecture.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Firm grasp of JavaScript and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
• Plan, track, and report on project progress, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines and business objectives.
