What you'll do:

• Design and implement data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data into Snowflake using tools such as Snow pipe, SnowSQL, and third-party ETL tools.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and schemas in Snowflake to support reporting, analytics, and data visualization needs.
• Optimize query performance and resource utilization on Snowflake by tuning SQL queries, managing clustering keys, and implementing effective data partitioning strategies.
•  Work closely with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the Snowflake platform.
•  Collaborate with data governance and security teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
•  Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure on Snowflake and implement proactive measures to prevent data issues and downtime.
•  Stay informed about new features and best practices on the Snowflake platform and recommend improvements to existing data engineering processes.
•  Document data pipelines, workflows, and data models, and provide training and support to other team members as needed.
•  Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives involving data integration, migration, and modernization efforts.
•  Contribute to the overall data architecture and data engineering strategy and help drive innovation and continuous improvement in data management practices.
