What you'll do:

• Must have hands-on working knowledge on Go Lang
• Partner with US-based Engineering Leadership and Product Management to define and implement processes to manage and prioritize backlogs for technical project implementation and assessment / remediation of technical debt.
• Partner with Product Management on feature requests, customer requests and customer reported issues to ensure alignment of technical approach and resources to delivery imperatives.
• Define, implement and monitor build, deployment and release processes across engineering teams; ensure processes align across teams and adhere to defined and implemented compliance requirements (e.g. SOC2, GDPR).
• Coordinate release cadence to ensure fixes and work are rapidly moving to production.
• Lead, mentor and coach a group of talented engineers, and help them to progress in their careers.
• Empower the engineering team to achieve a high level of technical productivity, reliability, and simplicity.
• Review test cases and test results; ensure all functionality released meets expectations for quality and scalability.
• Lead new features and address training requirements.
• Triage JIRA tickets and work to limit engineering context switching.
• Present and drive OKR’s on a quarterly basis.
• Protect the team from organizational distractions.
• Transparently communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

What makes you great fit:

• 10+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in building SaaS platforms in a distributed, multi-technology environment
• Strong technical skills in Go, including experience with frameworks, libraries, and tools.
• At least 3 years of experience managing teams of engineers and 5+ years acting as a technical development lead
• Experience delivering complex B2B SaaS products to production on an AWS-based platform
• Hands-on technical experience delivering web, data and/or mobile applications for enterprise-grade customers
• Hands-on experience with React and/or React Native is a bonus
• Hands-on experience with AWS and or any other cloud provider
• Have previous experience as a manager of managers
• Ability to set and reinforce technical vision for larger projects
