What you will do:

• Design, develop, and implement large-scale, highly distributed, and resilient software solutions that meet the business and technical requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and architects, ensuring high-quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and project managers to define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the projects.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and tools, and recommend the best solutions for the projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions using Python.
• Implement and integrate REST APIs into existing systems and develop new APIs as needed.
• Utilize web frameworks like Django and Flask to build efficient and maintainable web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Use version control systems such as GIT and Perforce to manage code repositories effectively.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data structures, file operations, and parsing techniques for XML, JSON, and plain text data formats.
• Apply regular expressions for pattern matching and text manipulation tasks.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, understanding their requirements and providing appropriate solutions.

What makes you a great fit:

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Python.
  
• Extensive experience in object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Proficiency in web development technologies such as AngularJS, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
• Experience with machine learning and/or time series forecasting is desirable.
• Familiarity with advanced authentication and authorization mechanisms.
