What you'll do:

Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with project goals.
Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget, managing risks and resolving issues as they arise.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
Work closely with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.

What makes you a great fit:

12+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Core Java, Advanced Java, and Java J2EE.
Proven experience with Spring MVC and Spring Boot frameworks.
Expertise in designing and implementing Microservices architecture.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Rest API development.
Proficiency in working with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading technical teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced startup environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in the payments or fintech industry.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Experience in agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
