What you'll do:

• Design and implement data quality test plans, including test cases and test scripts.
• Conduct thorough data validation and verification across multiple data sources and targets
• Validate data migration from legacy ETL tools to new platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.
• Identify, analyze, and document data discrepancies and anomalies.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and recommend solutions.
• Monitor data quality metrics and provide regular reports on data quality findings.
• Create automated testing processes to streamline data validation during migration.

What makes you a great fit:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in data quality assurance and data testing.
• Strong understanding of database and data modelling concepts and excellent SQL proficiency for data validation.
• Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience with data migration methodologies and best practices.
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non- technical stakeholders.
